Daniel Jacobs vs John Ryder: Fight time, ring walks, undercard, prediction, betting odds - preview tonight

Daniel Jacobs fights in the UK for the first time as a professional when he faces John Ryder at Alexandra Palace on Saturday night.

The American has cemented his place as an elite-level fighter and has said his “ultimate goal is to become a hall of fame fighter.”

Jacobs believes a win against Ryder in their super-middleweight dust-up will put him back into world title contention.

Hometown hero Ryder will be fighting just a few miles north of his birthplace in Islington.

The winner looks set to be catapulted into a title-contending position within the WBA, which could well provide a much-needed shot in the arm for both men after a relatively slow time of things of late.

Jacobs has not fought since his fairly dubious win over Gabriel Rosado in November 2020, while Ryder is offered the chance to make a statement on home soil.
