John Ryder pulled off a stunning comeback to overcome Daniel Jacobs at the Alexandra Palace on Saturday evening.
The American appeared to have had the fight sewn up after dominating for the first seven rounds before the hometown fighter’s battling saw him awarded a victory via split decision in what looks like a hugely controversial decision.
Ryder then mooted a fight with Canelo Alvarez for the super middle-weight title.
Elsewhere on the card, Johnny Fisher extended his unbeaten streak with a win over Gabriel Enguema while Felix Cash and Ellie Scotney produced memorable winning performances.
