Perth have sunk to their worst NBL run since 2005 after the Wildcats were humbled by Tasmania 85-77 to fall to their fifth consecutive defeat.
In a see-sawing contest at RAC Arena on Thursday, it was regular programming for Perth star Bryce Cotton who shone with a game-high 26 points.
But he lacked help elsewhere.
The league's second-highest scorer accounted for 34 per cent of the Wildcats' points but their next highest was Jesse Wagstaff who tallied just 13.
Only two players finished in double figures for the hosts, who are now on their worst NBL run since January 2005.
But full credit should go to the JackJumpers as they distributed the ball outstandingly in the final term, mixing up their tempo to seal consecutive wins over Perth.
The last time these teams met, it was Tasmania who prevailed by 31 points in round four - their highest score and highest winning margin in their short history.
In front of their own fans, Perth looked in the box seat early on to enact revenge but the tenacious JackJumpers stuck around and slowly whittled into their lead.
Some late three pointers in the third term gave Scott Roth's side a two-point margin, which ballooned out to 14 midway through the fourth quarter.
Josh Magette hit some audacious three pointers - sometimes several feet behind the arc. In one span he hit consecutive threes, before Rashard Kelly joined in the action.
Magette finished with 18 points on 6-10 from behind the arc while Jack Mcveigh led the JackJumpers with 22 points, shooting 50 per cent from the field.
Mcveigh was a focal point for their offence in dribble hand-offs and screens on the perimeter.
Milton Doyle also stood tall for Tasmania, recording a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double to share a team high plus/minus of 21 with Mcveigh.
Perth are now on three wins and five losses for the season and have lost the rebound count in all of their NBL games so far.
Tasmania, who began the season with no wins from three games, are now on five wins from nine games.
