Jackie ‘O’ Henderson will be temporarily stepping away from her popular KIIS FM Breakfast radio show with Kyle Sandilands after the pair got into a heated argument during a segment last week.
Sandilands confirmed on-air this morning that his co-host will be taking a “couple of days” away from the show to “gather her thoughts” in the wake of their spat.

On Friday’s episode, Sandilands criticised Henderson after she read through Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s astrology chart in response to news of his arrest.
“Your fixation on this [astrology] has made you almost unworkable,” Sandilands said during the live segment, adding that Henderson is “off with the fairies with this shit”.
Henderson pushed back and told Sandilands she was offended by the comments, but he continued the spray by saying her interest in astrology had affected her work.
“You are not doing the rest of the job, and everyone in this building has mentioned it to me,” Sandilands claimed.
“You don’t know what the fuck is going on all the time, because you’re looking at that phone, playing in the stars, and it’s ridiculous,” he added.
Sandilands then told his co-host that she can’t let astrology “take over her whole life”, and compared her interest in it to that of a “drug addict”.
Henderson has been open about her struggles with addiction in the past, revealing in 2024 that she had entered treatment over a pills and alcohol addiction that began in 2020.

Henderson was heard holding back tears as Sandilands scolded her during the segment, saying at various points that she was “offended” and that his criticisms were “not fair”.
“I totally am offended by you saying something like that,” Henderson said.
“I would never say things like that about you. You sit there like you’re perfect. There’s so many things that you don’t do and I would never bring them up.”
In his update after the on-air clash, Sandilands said he “spoke with” Henderson over the weekend but only via text.
It’s not the first time the radio show’s content has made waves. Last year, the pair’s segments were found to have breached standards set out by the radio watchdog over vulgarity and decency rules, and before that, Sandilands was forced to undergo sensitivity training after offensive on-air comments.
Sandilands and Hendserson have been radio personalities for 25 years, with their KIIS FM show launching in the Melbourne market back in 2024.
