“Jackass” star Bam Margera is voluntarily returning to a Florida rehab center after being found at a hotel on Wednesday, according to a report.
Margera didn’t receive approval before leaving the Delray Beach facility, where he was serving a court-ordered stint, TMZ reported.
The reality star, who disappeared from the rehab center on Monday, reportedly cooperated after being located at a Delray Beach hotle by officials, who are now taking him back.
Margera starred on MTV’s original stunt-and-prank series “Jackass” and has also done spinoffs of the show, including “Viva La Bam.”
The 42-year-old finished a one-year substance abuse program last month, according to TMZ.
Margera on Tuesday shared an Instagram photo showing a man whom he said was his new Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor, writing, “MMA fighter, chiropractor and ten years sober Dominick, is my new AA sponsor.”
Margera hasn’t publicly commented on the rehab center situation, but sources told TMZ in a previous report that the star took issue with rules at the facility and left following an argument with his wife.
In April, Margera dropped a lawsuit that named “Jackass” co-creators Jeff Tremaine and Johnny Knoxville, along with Paramount Pictures, in which he’d claimed he was wrongfully terminated from the franchise’s latest movie, which came out in February.
