Hull FC prop Scott Taylor has been handed a one-match ban for a 'Dangerous' Contact' charge in Friday's victory over Leeds Rhinos. Taylor got the matchwinner with his 75th-minute try at Headingley, but will now miss the trip to Catalans just as he did last season for the same charge. He is the first player to be suspended in Super League this season.
This year's charge, meanwhile, was a Grade C offence which last year carried a bigger ban. However, with a more lenient approach, Taylor will be free to play in Hull's round four home game against Salford Red Devils.
He is the only player to receive a ban this week, though five other players have all been charged. Wakefield's Jorge Taufua and Wigan's Liam Farrell both received Grade B Dangerous Contact charges with £250 fines. Leigh's Joe Wardle was also fined £250 after a Grade B Striking charge.

Blake Austin of Leeds Rhinos and St Helens star Jack Welsby were handed Grade A Dangerous Contact and High Tackle charges. No further action was taken though and both are free to play in Friday's televised clash. Castleford were awarded a penalty try following Welby's hit on Jack Broadbent.
