Scotland star Jack Hendry 's future at Club Brugge appears increasingly fraught after he was bombed out entirely of their 20-man squad despite being declared fit.
The former Celtic stopper hit the headlines last month when he had a blast at his own boss Alfred Schreuder for his lack of playing time in Belgium.
Schreuder - who has been touted as a replacement for Manchester United -bound Erk ten Hag at Ajax - held clear-the-air talks with the 26-year-old who cost the club £5 million and insisted there was no problem.
However, Hendry has only appeared as a sub once since his outburst and that was against relegated Beerschot.
And he was omitted entirely from their matchday squad this weekend for the crunch game against Royal Antwerp. Hendry wasn't on the list of players the club declared injured and it was reported he was left out for 'sporting reasons.'
A lck of playing time for Hendry would be the latest blow for Scotland boss Steve Clarke ahead of a hectic programme in June, starting with the World Cup play-off against Ukraine.
Certain starter Kieran Tierney is already a huge doubt after a knee operation and Everton full back Nathan Patterson is also struggling following an ankle operation.
And it seems certain that Hendry - who scored against Austria in the recent friendly - will have a serious lack of game time going into the matches.
