Jack Harrison has rubbished suggestions of a move away from Leeds United this summer. Reports throughout the transfer window have linked the 25-year-old with a move to Newcastle United.
It is understood the Magpies made an enquiry for the winger, but after losing Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips, the Whites remain determined to keep another of their prized assets.
However, Harrison gave an ambiguous “we’ll see what happens” response when asked whether he will stay at Leeds in pre-season. Two years remaining on his contract means his value could plummet next season unless he pens an extension at Elland Road.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Harrison retracted his previous comments to outline his desire to stay in Yorkshire. The wideman insists his goal is to “work hard” for manager Jesse Marsch and his Leeds team-mates.
“I knew nothing about it (the Newcastle enquiry) and it threw me off,” Harrison said. “My answer gave the wrong impression of what I meant. Social media was talking about it and people were like, ‘What have you said?’
“But it was nothing. My intention is to be here and work hard for this team. If anything I want to make a greater impact than before and I think this is the best place to do that.”
