Jack Grealish's girlfriend Sasha Attwood's supportive gesture ahead of England game

Jack Grealish has the support of his childhood sweetheart ahead of England's big Fifa World Cup clash this evening.

Sasha Attwood, who has dated the Man City ace since their school days, took to Instagram this afternoon to get behind her man just hours before England take on neighbours Wales in their final group game of this year's tournament in Qatar.

Jack, 27, and his England teammates rushed to the stands to embrace their partners after their 6-2 win over Iran last week, but thanks to being held to a draw by the American national team over the weekend, England's place in the knockout stages of the World Cup is yet to be confirmed.

Wales need to beat Gareth Southgate's team by at least four goals to stand any chance of progressing further in the tournament, meaning Sasha's boyfriend and his teammates face a tough battle on the pitch tonight.

Sharing a snap of herself with her on-off boyfriend, the model, 26, added a pink love-heart emoji to her Instagram Story update this afternoon - a sweet nod to Jack ahead of the big game.

In the picture, the sports star can be seen with a big smile across his face as his childhood sweetheart perches on his lap wearing a replica England shirt.

Sasha then went on to share a couple of snaps of herself taking in some of the sights Qatar have to offer, including an idyllic image of a local beach.

Jack and Sasha first met at St Peter's Roman Catholic Secondary School in Solihull as school kids and the pair began dating at 15.

Since then, the pair have had an on-off relationship - with the Manchester City player even incorrectly rumoured to have dated Emily Atack and Amber Rose Gill behind the model's back last year.

Sasha usually keeps quiet about the speculation surrounding her love life, but in December 2021 boyfriend Jack broke his silence about the constant rumours.

The Brummie heartthrob told fans not to "believe everything you read", after speculation mounted he'd been dating other women.

England's number seven shared a short statement on his Instagram Stories, pleading with his followers to ignore the rumours surrounding his love life.

While Jack focuses on England's World Cup campaign, Sasha has been out in Qatar to support her partner but still managed to work on her own career commitments.

In addition to working as a successful model, Sasha also earns money as an influencer on both Instagram and YouTube - with her latest vlog uploaded six days ago, after England's opening game victory.

In the video, a partnership with fashion brand Club L London, the Brummie babe offered her followers some style suggestions ahead of the festive season.

Commenting underneath the footage of the WAG trying on different outfits perfect for Christmas parties, one fan suggested: "Please can we have a video with you and Jack over the Xmas period once the World Cup is over? Love your channel!!"

Another wrote: "How is my gorgeous angel, listen I know you get death threats but don’t listen to them bc all you know their jealous of you and you know Jack won’t date them."

In the past, Sasha has used her YouTube channel to discuss the intense death threats she can receive due to dating one of the world's most fancied footballers.

Speaking on the channel after England's Euro 2020 campaign, she said: "Things have obviously blown up over the Euros, but I never thought in a million years it would ever be this bad.

"It just kind of blows my mind how nasty people can be for no reason whatsoever."
