Keinan Davis is continuing his flying form for Nottingham Forest after another devastating performance on Wednesday night.
Steve Cooper's side beat automatic promotion hopefuls Blackburn Rovers 2-0 to give their own hopes of a Premier League return a real boost.
The Reds are now nine points off AFC Bournemouth in second place and play Scott Parker's men on Friday week.
Forest, for now, are in the play-offs and well set for a top-six finish and their excellent form has been helped by the arrival of Keinan Davis on loan from Aston Villa for the rest of the season.
Davis played a key role in Forest's opening goal against Blackburn when he collected the ball on the halfway line, evaded three opponents and ran into space.
He was brought down by a Blackburn defender but got back up and put James Garner through for the midfielder to score.
Davis now has two goals and two assists from seven games of his loan spell at the Reds and his close friend from Villa, Jack Grealish, sent him a message of support on social media late on Wednesday night.
"What a player, love it bro keep it up," he wrote on Twitter.
Forest eased to victory in Lancashire and Cooper reckons his side could have added more.
The Reds are flying with only one defeat from their past seven games and they have scored two or more goals in four of them.
"I thought we more than deserved the win today," Cooper said
"In the second half especially after the 10 men, really we should have run away with it, we could have and should have scored four or five.
"But we did not quite show the composure or the decision-making that we showed for the first goal but we kept getting in."
