Jack Draper return date revealed after last-minute Wimbledon withdrawal

  • British tennis player Jack Draper was forced to withdraw from Wimbledon before his first-round match due to a recurrence of bone bruising in his left arm.
  • This latest injury was a significant blow for Draper, who has faced a series of setbacks over the past year, including previous arm issues, as well as knee and shoulder problems, limiting his time on tour.
  • Despite initial concerns that he might face another extended period away from the sport, Draper is now poised to make his return to action this month.
  • He has been announced as a wild card entrant for the DC Open in Washington, which is scheduled to begin on 27 July, with his representatives confirming his intention to play.
  • The DC Open marks the start of the North American hard court swing, leading up to the US Open in late August, and will feature a strong field including several top 10 players.
