Jack Butland has admitted he is 'over the moon' after securing a move to Rangers.
The former Crystal Palace and Manchester United loanee has put pen to paper on a pre-contract and will officially join up with his new team-mates on July 1. He has agreed a four-year deal in a major coup for Michael Beale. It was a key position needing addressed this summer with Allan McGregor's exit and Jon McLaughlin looking likely to leave.
He will compete with Robby McCrorie - who has impressed when handed the chance by Beale to show his credentials - for the No1 starting position for the new campaign. He joins Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling in penning deals so far at Ibrox with the summer overhaul well underway as the Light Blues bid to dethrone Celtic and reach the Champions League.
