Potential Rangers target Jack Butland has subliminally told Gers fans what they can expect given his bit-part role at Manchester United.
The former England international has lost his way in his career after bursting onto the scene at Birmingham City and Stoke City, where he was heralded as a future England number one. But, after 77 appearances in the Premier League for Stoke, he fell out of favour in the Midlands, joining Crystal Palace as their second goalkeeper.
Just seventeen appearances in two-and-a-half seasons at Selhurst Park has led him to United on loan where he is yet to make it onto the park. But the boyhood Red Devil harbours hopes of doing so on the final day - and as such, has offered Rangers fans a glimpse into what he could bring to Ibrox.

Butland told United's official website: “I mean you can only be yourself and certainly I felt when I first came in, you're a little bit wary of being too loud or too boisterous and chirpy at times because I'm a happy sort of chirpy character.
“So you tread carefully to begin with, make sure you don't sort of rub anyone up the wrong way, but they're a great group. I've got on really well with everybody.
“We have a great laugh in training, whether it's with some of the attacking players – even just shooting practice with Bruno [Fernandes] and Fred and things like that, you get a really good rapport with people and everyone's themselves and we have a great time.
“I'm certainly a positive person. I like having a positive impact on people and, you know, I feel extremely positive about myself and where I'm at, at the minute.”
