Jack Butland has detailed the 'massive' role Michael Beale played in his move to Rangers.
The Light Blues have officially announced the signing of the England cap on a pre-contract from Crystal Palace with the 30-year-old putting pen to paper on a four-year deal. He becomes the third summer addition so far with Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling also signing pre-contracts from Norwich City and Chelsea.
Beale had a new Rangers goalkeeper as a priority position and has now landed his No1 target for the season ahead as he bids to end Celtic's dominance in Scotland and also safely navigate two qualifying rounds to reach the Champions League group stage. Butland spent time on loan at Manchester United last season before confirming his Ibrox switch.
