Jack Butland has passed his medical at Rangers with a transfer imminent, according to one report.
Michael Beale has been in the market for a new No1 after Allan McGregor's departure as one of five Light Blues stars to say goodbye to the Ibrox club this summer. Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander joined him in not being offered fresh terms with the quintet all getting a big farewell from the supporters in the final home league game.
Recruitment in the way ahead of a big summer overhaul has kicked off with Kieran Dowel l and Dujon Sterling both penning pre-contracts from Norwich City and Chelsea. They join January recruits Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin as signings three and four since Beale's arrival and his first two of this window.

Now well respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has said it's just a matter of time before England cap Jack Butland is announced with a deal and contract agreed.
He spent time on loan at Manchester United last season and will join as a free agent from Crystal Palace in a major coup for the Ibrox men.
He wrote on Twitter: "Jack Butland has completed medical tests as new Rangers player today — done deal, contract agreed.
"Butland joins as free agent from #CPFC after Man United loan."
