Jack Butland has admitted his transfer exit from Rangers to join newly-promoted Premier League side Hull was "bittersweet".
The former Ibrox goalkeeper was surprised to move on from Rangers this summer as he swapped places with shot-stopper Ivor Pandur who made the move to Glasgow.
Pandur was brought in as Rangers' new No1 for £6m, with Butland then moving to Hull for £3m.
Speaking on talkSPORT on Monday, Butland admitted he found leaving Rangers "really tough" as he insisted "you don't really let go".
Asked why he hadn't revealed he'd be moving when last on the radio station, he said: “I had no idea at that point. At that point it was exactly that. No truer words were said last time.

“It’s been really tough. I’ll never be far from it, fully, fully enjoyed the last three years and it’s been a huge part of my career and one that I’m very grateful of having had the opportunity to be a part of.
“Bittersweet, sad to leave. Really sad to leave. But really excited about the opportunity.”
