Ja’Marr Chase reveals Joe Burrow’s superstitious socks habit

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow joked recently that his new-look haircut at least partially had something to do with that brutal season-opening loss to the Cleveland Browns.

A day later, Ja’Marr Chase wasn’t sure if that was the case — but he did point out that Burrow gets a little superstitious with his socks, a habit he’s had since their college day together.

“I know he is with his socks,” Chase said, according to CLNS Media’s Mike Petraglia. “If you ever pay attention to him, just pay attention to his socks. He does one sock in and out. It’s flipped. He’s been doing it since college…I’m used to it now. I sit and just shake my head at it, that he still does it.”

So not the hair…but maybe the socks?

For his part, Chase says he doesn’t participate in any of that. But now that fans know to look…

Unless, of course, Chase is just messing around again like he did recently with the Browns or that “Pat Who?” comment. Either way, expect to see Burrow sock analysis on social media soon enough.
