SRINAGAR: A Srinagar-based YouTuber seen in a viral VFX video depicting a mock beheading of BJP's suspended national spokesperson Nupur Sharma was arrested on Saturday as part of a nationwide crackdown on suspects allegedly responsible for stoking trouble after Friday prayers in various cities.
Faisal Wani was charged under sections 505 (making statements or spreading rumours to cause fear or alarm) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and taken into custody soon after he posted an apology on his YouTube channel, terming the controversial video a mistake that he realised later.
