Big Brother JJ Watt offered up some potentially good news about Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt and his MCL sprain. Reports have been flying about the severity of his injury with Watt now saying the best-case scenario is a Grade 2 MCL sprain and he should only need a couple of weeks of recovery.
This is in stark contrast to the report NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport put out early on Sunday that Watt had suffered an MCL tear. At this point we will probably have to wait until head coach Mike Tomlin addresses the media to get a clear diagnosis and a timetable for Watt’s return, should the Steelers make the playoffs.
Best case scenario for TJ.
Grade 2 MCL sprain.
Everything else looks pristine.Couple weeks of rest/recovery.

Pittsburgh beat Baltimore on Saturday to improve to 10-7 on the season and keep the door slightly ajar for a shot at the playoffs. The Steelers defense would be much more effective if Watt could be on the field, should the playoffs become a reality.
