J.J. Watt had a more interesting Thursday night than you did.
The former Texans and Cardinals star spent the night celebrating two of his friends’ birthdays and posted a photo on social media of the star-studded group that joined him for dinner. The two birthday boys were former NFL player Zach Ertz and PGA Tour golfer Jon Rahm (both born Nov. 10), but the Super Bowl champion and two-time major winner weren’t the most accomplished athletes at the table.
Ertz’s wife, Julie, a former member of the U.S. women’s national soccer team, was also there, as was the greatest Olympic swimmer of all time, Michael Phelps. Watt’s wife, Kealia, another former pro soccer player, was also there.
The group photo is a sight to behold. Of the eight, six of them are current or former professional athletes, representing four different sports.
All sports were insulted equally at the table tonight.

(Rahm’s wife, Kelley Cahill, ran track at Arizona State. Phelps’s wife, Nicole Johnson, was named Miss California in 2010.)
That remarkable group can boast one Super Bowl championship, eight Pro Bowls, three NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards, 21 goals for the USWNT, two Women’s World Cup titles, 11 PGA Tour wins (including a green jacket and a U.S. Open), 23 Olympic gold medals, three silvers and three bronzes. That’s a lot of hardware.
