Plans for a new Ivy restaurant in Belfast have revealed intentions to open two of their restaurant brands in the former Burger King site.
The Ivy restaurant chain, known for its upmarket brasseries and neighbourhood cafés, has plans to transform Units 3 and 4 of 56 Cleaver House into two unique dining experiences in Belfast city centre.
Troia (UK) Restaurants Limited has applied to Belfast City Council's planning committee for permission to create a new two-storey franchise eaterie at Cleaver House on the corner of Donegall Place and Donegall Square North, a landmark six floor building of retail and office accommodation.

According to planning documents, the new Belfast location will offer The Ivy Brasserie and The Ivy Asia for customers to enjoy.
The Ivy Brasserie, known for its all-day menu in a relaxed dining setting, will be located on the ground floor of the new restaurant.
The planning application states: "The restaurant at Ground Floor will comprise a circular bar area centrally located within the main dining room.
"The restaurant will seat approximately 108 no. people, and the bar area has further seating for approximately 21 no. people.
"There will be a number of booth areas, however the majority of seating will be open plan".
It continued: "With regards to the proposed interior design specification for the ground floor ‘Brasserie Restaurant’, it will be decadent theme utilising bright colours and fabrics with florals."
The first floor will become The Ivy Asia "with a menu as rich and varied as the diverse cultures that span the continent" which has become a popular addition to the Ivy brand with locations such as Manchester and Chelsea.
The plans read: "At first floor level, the proposed restaurant will encompass a different theme and will be directly accessed from the lift and stairway at ground floor level.
"The restaurant layout will consist of booth seating areas, high seating, and some open plan seating.
"The restaurant will seat approximately 108 no. people, with the bar area accommodating up to a further 10 no. guests.
"The proposed interior design specification for the ‘Asia Restaurant’ at first floor level will again be of a high quality, that is consistent with The Ivy trademark.
"The design will entail a bright colour palette and eclectic furniture to bring the theme to life."
