I’ve walked over 100,000 steps in the Scarpa Ribelle Cross 2 GTX — and they’re some of the most comfortable and grippy shoes I’ve tested so far

Scarpa Ribelle Cross 2 GTX hiking shoes.

The importance of a comfortable and durable pair of shoes can’t be overstated, whether you’re climbing a mountain or traveling across the world. Having walked 100,000 steps in the Scarpa Ribelle Cross 2 GTX and flown halfway across the world in them, I can confirm these are some of the best hiking boots around.

The Ribelle Cross 2 GTX provides excellent support, flex, grip and traction on most wet and dry surfaces. They’re extremely comfortable and breathable, making them great for cold and hot climates alike — trust me, I’ve worn them in 104°F / 40°C Indian heat! Thanks to Gore-Tex fabric, they’re highly waterproof and quick to dry, too. As long as you don’t mind the short break-in period and the slightly narrow fit, these could be an awesome choice for your next hike.
