Ivan Toney confident of becoming Harry Kane understudy after ‘surreal’ England debut

Ivan Toney is confident that he has impressed England manager Gareth Southgate this week and put himself in pole position to be Harry Kane's understudy for Euro 2024.

Toney made his England debut for the final 10 minutes as Southgate's side made it two consecutive wins in qualifying with a 2-0 victory over Ukraine at Wembley on Sunday, sealed by first-half goals from Kane and Bukayo Saka.
