Lorraine Kelly has updated her fans after she was replaced on the ITV1 show last week. The presenter has confirmed she will be back on her breakfast programme as usual on Monday, February 27 after being sent home ill on Wednesday, February 22.
The 63-year-old was replaced by Ranvir Singh at the last minute after being hit with a "hideous bug" shortly after arriving at the studio. Explaining the short turn around time, Ranvir said: "I got a call from the editor at 7:18 and I was asleep.
"I was on the train for 7:30. I am quite proud of myself this morning. Anyway, we want Lorraine to be well, don't we?"

Speaking to GP Dr Anisha Patel later on in the programme, Ranvir added: "Listen, we're all thinking of Lorraine this morning. She is such a trooper. But of course when the bug hits, you just can't shake it off and you feel that sick, there's only one option which is to go home and lie down for a bit."
Meanwhile, Lorraine tweeted: "When you have to be sent home from work early in the morning because you are suddenly attacked by a hideous bug and were looking forward to interviewing @adamlambert THAT! Beyond disappointed but imagine if I had infected him!!!!!!"
The presenter remained off sick for the rest of the week but has now provided a health update with her followers, and confirmed she will be returning to the show on Monday, February 27.
