Ever wondered what X Factor stars are doing now and just what they look like?
Well, fourteen years after X Factor Eoghan Quigg now looks unrecognisable from his first appearance on the show.
And a lot has happened in that time for the Northern Irish singer.
Back in 2008, Egohan sky-rocketed to stardom after he participated in season five of the ITV talent show, reported Liverpool Echo. He was just 16 years old at the time.
After his impressive performances, he finished a very respectable third behind JLS and winner Alexandra Burke.
After coming in the top three, Eoghan, who was mentored by Simon Cowell on the show, was due to be signed to the music mogul's Syco record label. However, he eventually signed with RCA after Cowell pulled out and he released a self-titled album in 2009.
Eoghan pulled away from the limelight after the album and returned to TV in 2014 when he competed for the chance to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song contest.
Now 29 years old, the musician appears to have hit the perfect balance.
Sharing adorable updates on Instagram and Facebook of his family life in Derry with partner Amy Campbell, but Eoghan looks completely different from the teenager who won over the nation's hearts as he has ditched the spiky hair and his arms are heavily tattooed.
The former X Factor star was renowned for his distinctive hairstyle on the talent show, however he opened up on how he underwent a hairline transplant in 2020.
Eoghan announced on Instagram that he had become an ambassador for a hair clinic in Istanbul as people reached out to him for support after he shared his progress.
He said: "I have to say it is the best decision I have ever made. For men, losing their hair can be such a stressful experience and one that we maybe don’t often open up or talk about enough.
He continued: "Since getting the hairline transplant and being open and honest about it, I’ve had so many men and women messaging me to say fair play, how they want to get it done, asking how do they go about it, cost, aftercare, does it really work etc and it’s been so refreshing actually finding out how many people where feeling how I used to feel and that I wasn’t the only one."
Eoghan has also continued his career in the music industry as he hosted a show on Q radio.
