ITV Tipping Point viewers unhappy with Ben Shephard's 'ridiculous' question

Tipping Point fans were treated to another instalment, as this week's fourth episode aired on ITV on Thursday.

Under its new format, the show now sees three hopefuls take on a larger than life version of the old school coin fall machine in the hopes of winning more than just a couple of pounds. With multiple rounds, contestants must answer questions correctly in order to drop a coin and if it falls successfully, their cash prize rises.

Thursday's instalment was fronted, as ever, by Ben Shephard. Lynsey, Tim and Hannah took on the arcade-style machine in the hopes of winning a prize.

Sadly for Lynsey, she was first to lose her place in the game. Hannah stormed ahead with £1350 in her pot, but Tim quickly caught up reaching £1000.

However, it was a question Ben asked Hannah which had viewers talking. Ben said: "A pork chop comes from which animal?", to which Hannah replied: "Pig".

Many viewers thought the question was "ridiculous". Taking to Twitter, Caryn said: "A pork chop is from which animal? These questions are getting more and more ridiculous #TippingPoint".

Samantha said: "Pork chop is from what animal?"..." with a gif of somebody rolling their eyes. David Kelly said: "Lord have mercy, which animal is a pork chop from.".

Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
