Tipping Point viewers realised the show won't be going back to its old format as it drops down to only three contestants.
Fans of the ITV quiz show Tipping Point have been left disappointed with the show's new format. As part of their 10th-anniversary celebrations, the number of contestants has dropped from four to three.
Since Monday, viewers have consistently criticised the switch up, saying it feels too 'padded out'. Some fans have speculated the new format is due to a lack of applicants.

Neither host Ben Shephard nor producers of the show have commented on the backlash. Realising they will not be returning to their roots anytime soon, fans shared their disappointment.
One viewer said: "Hate the new format!! Three contestants at the start then ALL go through to next round!! Way too much talking between contestants!! That’s us done!! Will have to find something else to watch, should be easy though!! #tippingpoint". Another said: "#tippingpoint Nope I don’t like this new format."
Another viewer added: "If it's not broke dont fix it! #tippingpoint". A final viewer said: "Dont think were going back to four anytime soon #tippingpoint". Neither Tipping Point or Ben Shephard have mentioned why the show changed its format, only that the shake-up was to celebrate ten years on the air.
