Viewers couldn't help but comment just seconds into the start of This Morning on Monday (June 13) as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield kicked off a new week. The pair were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show and welcomed fans as the show began.
However, instead of their usual chat between them or teasing about what was to come on the first show of the week, the pair went straight into an interview.
Following This Morning's opening titles, Holly and Phillip appeared in the studio as Holly, 41 said: "Hello, good morning and welcome to a new week on This Morning." Phillip, 60, then took over and said: "For anyone who has children, I'm sure there will have been moments when they've left you a little bit red-faced, either by their actions or by something they said."

Adding more context to what they were getting at, Holly continued: "Well, when the Actar family popped in to their local B&Q to pick up a washing line on Saturday, their son did what anyone would do when caught short and find the nearest toilet."
However, it wasn't as it seemed as a photo then appeared on the screen of the toddler sitting using the hardware store's display loos. "Yes indeed, that actually happened," mum-of-three Holly said before introducing the boy's parents, Caroline and Aaron to the show with the pair appearing live via video link from their home in Somerset.
Holly thanked them for an 'early morning laugh' saying the story had left them in 'hysterics' when they came into work at the ITV studios on Monday.
Explaining what happened on their family trip, Caroline laughed, saying her husband was going to go into the shop himself but that their kids 'love running around' the local store. "Next thing we notice him with his shorts down, sat on the toilet," she said. "We ran over and it was just too late."
Caroline shared how he blamed his sister, saying it was her who said it was OK and unfortunately for them, it was the worst-case scenario. A picture of the toilet bowl then flashed on screen with the contents being covered by a poo emoji while the couple told how they had to run to the car for wipes and nappy bags in order to clear up their son's mess.
Phillip asked what the B&Q staff and other shoppers had to say about the incident to which Aaron shook his head and said 'nothing'. Caroline added that they 'ignored' the situation. Holly then cringed for the couple upon seeing a photo of Aaron attempting to clean out the show toilet.
But This Morning viewers were quick to flock to social media and comment on the show's opening segment. @Rhianlovesbooks tweeted: "What a start to the show! How did they manage to secure guests like this! #ThisMorning."
@JayHBaker94 said: "Maybe it's just me but this isn't as hilarious as they are making out... #ThisMorning." @Laura_Sixxx commented unimpresseD: "Lovely, while I'm eating my breakfast #ThisMorning." @JoviGirl_1980 did see the funny side, writing: "Hahahahahaha, at least he didn't do it in his trousers not so sure we needed pictures though #ThisMorning."
