This Morning viewers were left feeling sorry for Josie Gibson as she returned to the show with another challenge on her hands. The presenter spent last week hugging cows as part of a new craze and this week was sent to the top of the Television Centre.
Tuesday's edition of the ITV daytime show opened with a guest appearance from Josie dressed as Spider-Woman and to mark the 20th anniversary of Spider-Man being on the big screen, she was taking part in an abseil live on the show.
She told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby who were back at the helm: "Good morning both. It’s your favourite crime fighting superhero Spider-Man here, web-slinging my way around the television centre, making sure everything is alright."

Phillip quickly replied: "I don't recall Spider-Man having a Bristolian accent". To which, Josie lifted her mask and said: "It's me, guys". Phillip, 60, then joked: "Wow, I had no idea".
Explaining what she was up to, the roving reporter, who has had various stints hosting the main show, said: "With great power comes great responsibility. That’s the famous quote said to Peter Parker before he became one of our favourite superheroes - Spider-Man."
She added: "For me, it’s taking a whole new meaning. Today marks Spider-Man's 20th anniversary on the big screen and I’m going to be scaling that iconic wall on the television centre. Good luck to me!". Phillip then asked if she felt ok and she said: "I went for a bit of hypnotherapy. I feel, Phil, like Spider-Woman!"
Later, Josie kicked off her abseil around an hour into the show and as the exterior of Television Centre flashed up on screen, Phillip shouted: "If you want to go, go for it," before Holly asked: "Have you looked over yet Josie or are you trying not to?"
Josie, 36, told viewers as she began her descent, “My spider-sense is telling me maybe this is a bad idea! If you like action movies, you’ll want to tune into this because this is the real action right here!"
Sharing her support, Holly, 41, told Josie: "You’re doing so well, you’re nearly there," as Phillip warned: "Mind those lights as you go down. They are iconic on the side of that building," before Holly remarked: "Gosh, look how high up she is!"
As Josie soon reached the ground, Phillip joked a taxi was coming to pick her up to take her to the Shard. Josie replied: "Don't do that to me Phil!"
But some This Morning viewers felt sorry for Josie and were annoyed on her behalf: @shrimpsy291 tweeted: "Poor josie never see holly having to earn a crust doing this s***e #ThisMorning."
@21VampSt said: "Back to humiliating Josie. Such a shame. She should be permanently presenting @thismorning #ThisMorning," as @kellymcc5 echoed: "Why does #thismorning continue to humiliate Josie? She’s so much better than this!"
