This Morning viewers were hoping for some nice festive warmth from the latest edition of the show when it was revealed that Santa would be live in the studio. However, those tuning in on Friday (December 23) think Andi Peters was left 'seething' by the Christmas guest who left them horrified.
The ITV star took over as host of ITV's popular daytime show alongside Josie Gibson. He stepped in for Craig Doyle, who had joined Josie for the rest of the week's episodes, as he headed back home in time for Christmas.
And with it being the last show before the big day on Sunday, Andi and Josie had an extra special guest in store. Father Christmas joined the pair on the famous sofa and viewers were encouraged to let their children phone in and speak to the man himself.

However, things appeared to take a bit of a different turn when Santa confirmed if Josie and Andi had made the good list. While former Big Brother winner Josie made it, Santa told Andi that he had to "wait until next year" to see if he was on the good list as he was "borderline".
"How do we get him on the nice list? He's got to what? What do you mean delete his internet history?" Santa then said before adding. "I don't know what that's about." Andi then replied: "I've gone right off you Father Christmas, I only wanted a mince pie."
But while Santa said he would Andi, 52, on the "naughty but nice list", viewers were flocking to Twitter to comment on the bizarre segment which also made reference to Brexit. @Nads1704 tweeted: "I guess this “Santa” will be added to the “naughty list” after his insinuations about Andi @thismorning #thismorning."
@GrainneMonks fumed: "Totally inappropriate comment from Santa on #ThisMorning show segment set up for kids. Good luck to parents answering your way around that one to inquisitive children!" @markjdow wrote: "Ohh no this Santa is cringeworthy to say the least and inappropriate #thismorning."
@lloyd_dennis8 commented: "Not convinced that the kids phoning in to Santa wanted to hear about Andi Peter's dubious internet usage and Brexit... Strange times indeed.. #ThisMorning." @Ianforsure added: "I suspect #ThisMorning won't be inviting this Santa on the show again next year."
And others thought Andi was also unimpressed. @Borisnose2 tweeted: "Poor Andi lives off his butter wouldn't melt nice guy image. I bet he's absolutely seething!!! #thismorning." @Rise_and_grind7 joked: "Andi is getting Santa his p45 for Christmas #ThisMorning."
