Holly Willoughby caused a distraction for This Morning viewers as she went all festive with her outfit. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Tuesday (December 6) alongside Phillip Schofield.
The pair have already started getting viewers into the Christmas spirit with the studio decked out with multiple lavish Christmas trees and other festive-inspired decorations. And there have already been plenty of segments alluding to the most wonderful time of the year from advent calendars to must-have Children's toys.
And not forgetting the food. During Tuesday's show, Gindo D'Acampo was back in the kitchen with his own twist on a festive dish - turkey in marsala sauce and there was also a bit of cocktail making with viewers getting some tips for if they're hosting their own events this month.
But despite plenty going on on-screen, This Morning viewers were distracted by Holly. The 41-year-old turned up on the small screen in a sleeveless short velvet dress in a festive red which she wore over a white shirt that boasted a lace neckline. She added a pair of thick tights and added a dark pair of heels to her feet.
And Holly kept the classic theme going by sweeping her trademark blonde locks into a low pony, tied with a black bow. Sharing a picture to her Instagram page, as is Holly's pre-show tradition, to show off her latest look, she wrote: "Morning Tuesday… see you on @thismorning with @martinlewismse #cliffrichard #ashleyjensen @stephenfryactually @iamginodacampo @therealgokwan … what a line up!!!!"
She confirmed that her dress and shirt were picked up on the high street from Zara while her court shoes were from LK Bennett. And the compliments soon came flooding in. @nikitanylon said: "Looking fabulous!" @beautywillsxx commented: "This is my favourite outfit of the week. Very christmassy."
@rebeccamellormusic wrote: "Christmas perfection!" @aimeeospiru posted: "OMG. Just bought This exact same dress few days ago. Looks amazing on you Holly." @shelterathome replied: "You look like Mrs Claus! The perfect Christmas Day dress." @stephen.bulley added: "Looking gorgeous Holly as always."
But This Morning viewers also got a different vibe from the outfit and took to Twitter to comment. @MadameMinge tweeted: "Jesus, is Holly is off to record Carols at Christmas after the show? #ThisMorning." @Boppity_Boo34 wrote: "Holly going for the choir boy look today then #ThisMorning," to which @elthornet17 replied: "Yeah I was thinking the same thing."
