Holly Willoughby has taken a dramatic fall down a set of stairs - and it was all caught on camera. The This Morning presenter was actually filming the final episode of Celebrity Juice when the incident happened.
The ITV2 show's former team captain returned to the programme, fronted by comedian and TV star Leigh Francis as alter ego Keith Lemon, at the end of last month alongside former co-star and friend Ferne Cotton as they officially said goodbye.
The show's host announced back in June that the comedy panel show, which ran for 14 years and for 26 series featuring a whole host of famous faces, was being axed. In a statement on Twitter alongside a reel of the show's best moments, Leigh wrote: "After 14 years, 26 series, 300 eps @CelebJuice is concluding later this year with two farewell specials. Thank you so so much to everyone who watched, to the team captains, guests, crew and itv2. It was the longest most fun party! I had a wonderful time. Big love x."
But they weren't going to go without a bang and Leigh managed to bring back Holly and Ferne alongside the show's latest team captains Laura Whitmore and Emily Atack for a mega send-off featuring other familiar faces. But in a first look at the final ever Celebrity Juice, which airs on Thursday night (December 8), Holly is seen taking a painful-looking tumble.
The 41-year-old's competitive spirit appears to have kicked in as she's seen taking part in one of the challenges, which involves trying to get a piece of cardboard back to the desks before the rival team.
In the clip, mum-of-three Holly is seen wrestling for the piece of carboard from Fearne before she ends up tripping and falling on her back on the stairs and nearly into the lap of one of the audience members. As Holly falls, Emily and guest, Strictly star Will Mellor, appear concerned but Holly doesn't quit and carries on with the game
The final episode will also feature appearances from Maya Jama, Big Narstie, Chris Ramsey, Joey Essex and some more surprise guests. Ahead of filming the episode on November 28, Holly took to Instagram to show how she was paying tribute to the show's host via her choice of oufit.
Holly shared a photo with her 8.1 million followers on Instagram revealing the striking outfit she had chosen to wear and dedicated to her friend Keith Lemon. She could be seen striking a pose in a blue and black striped blazer and matching trousers before adding a pair of towering heels.
Holly wrote alongside the snap: "With a heavy heart it’s time to say goodbye and thank you to @celebjuiceofficial … The final farewell outfit and it’s a nod to the legend that is @keithlemon … oosh… love you."
Celebrity Juice first began in 2008 with Holly and Fearne as team captains. Paddy McGuinness then took Fearne's spot after she quit with Mel B replacing him shortly after. Holly Willoughby then announced that she was quitting the show in 2020 after what she described as "12 years of fantastic chaos."
In May 2020 she announced the news writing: "Thank you @celebjuiceofficial for 12 years of fantastic chaos. I can’t quite believe what we’ve done and how quick that time has gone. Thank you to you all for watching, we’ve always had the loudest and best audiences."
