Alison Hammond left her fans in disbelief as she shared a gushing tribute on social media. One of the This Morning host's latest post was dubbed 'endearing' as she shared how there was a time when 'no one was interested' in her.
The presenter, who became a permanent host on the ITV daytime show in January 2021 after years of acting as a roving reporter, was sharing her heartfelt thanks and appreciation to her agent, Becca Bar. Alison posted a sweet selfie of their pair before sharing a wonderful message in the caption.
"My beautiful Agent and Friend always quietly in the background, has had my back when no one was interested in me," the 47-year-old started by typing.
She went on: "@beccabarr13 I absolutely adore you and everything you have done for me. I’m so grateful to have you in my life, you have helped me and my family in ways you will never know. This is just a post to say Thank you Miss Becca Barr." Waterloo Road star Adam Thomas was quick to throw his support behind Alison after her candid admission.
He penned: "Now look!! Gooo on Alison." TV and radio presenter Kate Thornton replied: "Love this." And Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha simply added: "Awwwww." But fans couldn't believe that 'no one was interested' in the former Big Brother star.
@melantropic_ said: "No one interested!!!! Some people don't know talent when they see it. Alison you are full of charisma. Id rather watch you on TV than most of the other presenters out there. We need more people like you on telly." @jannettemachette commented: "What an absolutely gorgeous endearing post. Some forget who helped them, I know that oh too well.
