Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary issued an apology on This Morning.
The broadcasters returned to front Friday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme. However, they were forced to address a segment on yesterday's show when Josie Gibson travelled to the Isle of Wight.
The Bristolian presenter tried out a brand new rollercoaster named Extinction at the oldest amusement part in the UK. However, fans were convinced Josie made an explicit remark on the ride.

Alison confirmed she had made the comment as she said: "If you were watching the show yesterday, you might have noticed that Josie after being pushed to the limit and almost being sick on the Isle of Wight theme park ride, accidentally let slip a rude word. We didn't hear it, did we?"
Dermot was confused as the clip was broadcast again as he stepped in. He said: "We probably don't need to play it again, I would say. She apologised yesterday but we didn't hear it. We'd like to just apologise again for any offence it might have caused.
Alison added: "We're apologising that we didn't hear the situation but we're apologising if you are offended. She was under stress."
Alison confirmed that Josie will be be returning to the show on Monday. The presenter will front the show alongside Holly Willoughby, who is returning for the first time Phillip Schofield quit ITV.
