ITV This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes is all smiles at races months after leaving show

Despite the miserable weather yesterday, Cheltenham Festival racegoers did not let their spirits be dampened, with many enjoying a fun-filled day. Scores of glamorous women arrived for Ladies' Day in extravagant clothing, ready to let their hair down and hopefully win some money.

Cheltenham Festival attracts plenty of celebrities, and members of high society and the Royal Family every year. Yesterday's attendees included Princess Anne, Zara Tindall, Lystra Adams, and ex-This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes.

After fifteen years on the daytime programme, it was announced that Eamonn would be leaving This Morning to join 'anti-woke' channel GB News last year. During the pandemic, Eamonn had angered ITV bosses by talking about conspiracy theories that linked coronavirus to 5G phone masts, and was made to issue a clarification by Ofcom the following day.

Despite the controversy, Eamonn seemed to be all smiles yesterday at Cheltenham Racecourse, as he enjoyed a day out with his GB News co-presenter Isabel Webster. The pair were spotted taking selfies with fans, and cheering the jockeys along from the stands.

The former This Morning presenter looked smart in a navy suit, complete with a blue patterned tie and pocket square. Isabel, on the other hand, wore a baby pink poncho-style coat over the top of a white long-sleeved shirt, with a matching pink Panama hat on her head.

Isabel formerly worked as a presenter on Sky News' breakfast programme, Sunrise, from 2014 to 2017, after which she started doing general presenting for the channel. In May 2021, she announced she was leaving to join GB News to co-host a weekly news show.

GB News launched in June 2021, with the promise to 'champion balanced debate'. The channel suffered a blow when main presenter Andrew Neil left after just two weeks.

Mass controversy has surrounded the channel since its inception. It has been compared to American broadcaster Fox News, and was boycotted by a number of advertisers including IKEA, Nivea, and Kopparberg, although some have since reversed their decision.
