Holly Willoughby returned to her This Morning presenting duties alongside Josie Gibson for the first time since Phillip Schofield's exit on Monday, June 5. The 61-year-old stepped down from his role on the daytime show on Saturday, May 20 following a rumoured rift with Holly and later quit ITV altogether after revealing he'd had an affair with a younger colleague.
As she opened the show following a two-week break on Monday, an emotional Holly, 42, said she was feeling "shaken, troubled and let down" as she delivered a statement to viewers. You can read her speech in full here.
And while This Morning returned with a new co-host for Holly, it also introduced a brand new series from West Wales. The segment will see Donal Skehan explore the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, beginning his journey in the coastal town of Newport.
