This Morning viewers were shown a number of ways to slash their energy bills during Monday's programme.
Consumer journalist and guest presenter Alice Beer was on hand to assist hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during a segment about the cost of living crisis. It comes as energy bills soared again on October 1.
With millions of households feeling the squeeze, especially as the weather turns colder, Alice shared her top tips for lowering bills.

Alice explained that one in five households have their thermostat set to around 22C. She said: "That's Lanzarote weather! You need to get it down to around 18C".
By doing so, she said, you could save around £80 a year. Alice then said people are wasting money by having their hot water temperature set too high.
She said: "You're filling a bath, or a pot of water to wash dishes, and then you're having to put cold in to cool it down [because it's too hot]. That's madness".
Alice explained that people should have their hot water set to around 60C, but " a lot less" in some cases, for example if you have small children in the home. She said: "The place to do this, it's like a 'volume switch', and you can change it up and down.
"Try it at 55C, and then if you can, do it a little bit lower. You will notice the difference in your bills".
