ITV This Morning: Holly Willoughby in disbelief as Craig Doyle visits Wales and eats biggest teacake we've seen

When we woke up today we didn't expect we'd want to trade places with a teacake, but yet here we are.

Irish TV presenter and radio host, Craig Doyle, appeared on ITV's This Morning via video link on Monday, February 21 where he was at Tintern Abbey to give viewers the details of a competition.

"It looks a bit dark and gloomy," said Craig, "But it's a very romantic place; It inspired the likes of Wordsworth and Tenison over the years. Turner used to paint it. But most romantically of all, Iron Maiden filmed the video of Can I Play With Madness here."

Craig carried on singing the praises of the area saying he was in Wye, the birth place of rugby and reminding us that on Saturday, February 26 England play Wales in the Six Nations.

He went on to explain that he was on a 120-mile road trip in honour of the ITV This Morning competition where winners can win £120,000 and at the close of the first segment he said he back back and that there was "talk of cakes".

Cakes? OK, that's had our attention.

After the next segment, back we went to Wales where Craig had stopped on a picnic bench and presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield couldn't believe their eyes as Craig tucked into the biggest teacake we've ever seen.

"Don't judge me, I'm in the area, this is what they do round here," he said as he wrapped his chops round the sugary treat.

He even had to fold it in half to fit it in his mouth adding: "Can I have some Craig time please?"

Holly and Phil were open mouthed with wonder.

"Is that a cookie?" said Holly trying to make sense of the sight.

"It's a teacake," grunted Craig with a mouthful of currents.

"We'll see you next week when you've just about finished it," said Holly.
