This Morning viewers wondered what was going on as they tuned into the latest edition of the show. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield as well as a number of their crew have ditched the ITV daytime show's usual studio for the forest.
It was revealed last year that ITV had bought its very own woodland area as part of a drive to "go green" and stop the woodland from ever being built on. It Back in September, the main hosting duo hosted their first show live from the forest.
When announcing the news of their new location, Holly and Phil confirmed that it is the show's "biggest-ever project." Phillip said: "Covid has made us all appreciate the natural world around us and we thought we’d like to continue that new-found appreciation by doing our little bit to help the planet.

But now they've headed for their very own 'forestival'. They confirmed the news on Wednesday's show (July 6) and despite the advance warning This Morning viewers were confused as to what they were seeing as they tuned in today (Thursday).
They were welcomed to the programme by a performance from multiple drummers who looked festival-ready in bright coloured clothes and face paint. Eventually Holly and Phillip appeared looking totally different to how we usually see them.
The pair ditched their prim and proper studio clothes for their own festival outfits. Phillip, 60, could be seen donning a loud floral shirt over a white tee which he paired with dark blue jeans and a pair of Converse-style shoes.
Holly, however, went for an edgier look. The 41-year-old was seen with her trademark blonde locks clipped up and pinned away for her face while she donned a white, flowy midi dress under a black leather jacket that was adorned with various tassles and patterns. She even added a pair of cowboy boots to complete the style change.
Opening the show, Phillip said: "Welcome to our This Morning festival. It's not quite the morning we had planned, obviously a little bit surreal today following the news Boris Johnson will resign as Prime Minister. Even though we have got our festival bands on we may crossover to Downing Street obviously at any point."
The group then introduced The Bootleg Beatles for a performance of a classic Beatles track and they were soon back to discussing the latest news headlines.
Discussing the resignation, Holly joked: "Is this a Boris festival or a leaving party, what are we doing here?" to which Phillip said: "Well he's welcome to come down here and host his leaving drinks if he wants to, it's all legal now."
But viewers still wondered what was going on. @gepowell_ tweeted: "What the hell is this #ThisMorning." @PhillyPhan_609 said: "This is exactly what we all needed #thismorning. It's like a bad acid trip." @SenorApple2014 commented: "Well… this isn’t one of the trippiest ways to celebrate Boris Johnson’s leaving. #ThisMorning."
