ITV This Morning fans baffled by 'missing stars' at show's Christmas bash

This Morning fans were confused as they claimed some stars were missing from the show's Christmas party.

The crew of ITV's flagship daytime programme gathered yesterday for a festive lunch. Alison Hammond shared clips from the bash on Instagram as the team partied at the Fox and Pheasant pub.

The bar is owned by James Blunt and the musician gatecrashed the bash alongside radio DJ Chris Evans. Alison left fans in hysterics as she posted an Instagram reel featuring show favourites such as Dermot O'Leary and Clodagh Mckenna.

She captioned the post: "Xmas Lunch at this morning is always an occasion not to be missed." However fans flooded the comments to question the whereabouts of the show's main broadcasters, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Anne said: "Where's Phil and Holly?" Another user said: "No Holly or Phil?"

Alison posted : "Where’s Phil & Holly?" The show's main presenters hosted today's show and revealed they were in attendance at the party.

Other clips shared on social media show the two enjoying the festivities. However, they did reveal a competition winner at the party was "disappointed" that another of the show's main presenters, Josie Gibson, was unable to make it.

Phil said: "Josie was busy yesterday and couldn't go." Holly added: "We were all disappointed Josie wasn't there."
