The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lystra Adams has shared a happy snap of herself with her new girlfriend after coming out on the reunion show. As the 15th series of the ITVBe reality show came to an explosive end, Lystra caused excitement in the studio by revealing her joyous news that she's in love.
Asked by host Brian Dowling about her 'big news' Lystra revealed that she had met someone. "I've met someone and, well, it's early to say in love but I actually think I am in love."
"Tell us more about this person you've met," he said. "She. Her name is Ashley," said Lystra. "We met a month ago and we've been joined at the hip ever since," she revealed happily.

She added with a laugh: "She's 29 but she actually acts older than me." And she said about her new relationship: "Every time I wake up with her I go 'oh my god.'"
Brian then turned to her friend and fellow Housewife Sheena Lynch who has met Lystra's new love Ashley. "I think Ashley is very calming for Lystra," she said. "Ashley is very, very mature and very responsible, and I think she's probably the only person that can pull Lystra in line actually and it's lovely to see."
Asked why she had chosen to be 'so open and honest' about her lovelife on the show reunion, which unpicks the dramatic events of the past series, she said: "I don't want to hide it. I don't want to hide her."
After the show a smitten Lystra took to Instagram to proudly introduce Ashley, saying: "Your love is life changing…. Meet my Ashley." And she added: "#loveislove #myboo #love #comingout #hersandhers#lgbtq."
The congratulations came flooding in including from co-star Rachel Lugo who reacted with love heart-eyes emojis and applause. Sheena also reacted with love hearts and former The Real Housewives star Ester Dee said: "Love and happiness to you."
Another ex co-star Deborah Davies told her: "Lots of love to you both, I’m happy you’re happy. You were my rock on RHOC you’re a beautiful soul @lystraadams you deserve all the happiness in the world."
Former professional Naomi Campbell lookalike Lystra joined the show in the 12th series in 2020. The model, property investor and entrepreneur had been a regular on the Cheshire social scene for years and was already friends with a number of the Housewives.
Lystra, mother to daughter Jasmine, 21, who is also a model, announced in September that she had 'walked away' from the Boujee restaurant chain. The reality star was one of the directors and 'the face' of the all-pink restaurants and bar based on Manchester's Bridge Street, as well as Carnival, its Caribbean and Latino-inspired pop-up on the restaurant terrace.
