ITV The Masked Singer unmasks Chris Kamara as Ghost but fans knew who it was

Fans of ITV's The Masked Singer guessed the star behind a mask before he was revealed. The show, which aired on New Year's Day, caused surprise with a double costume twist.

Celebrity panellists Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan were left to work out clues after each celebrity singer performed, with the identities later revealed. In the first episode of the popular series Ghost was uncovered - but the star behind the guise went on to reveal a second spooky costume underneath.

The star was revealed as football favourite Chris Kamara, known as Kammy - but viewers had already guessed this as he sang the Drifters' classic Save The Last Dance For Me. @VANDIESEL09 tweeted Kammy to ask: "That ghost sounds suspiciously like you matey...Be brilliant if it was you." And @SuzDowson73 cheered: "Yes! I knew it was Chris Kamara."
