It's the wacky gameshow that has fans guessing on Saturday nights, but some viewers took to Twitter to complain as they identified an issue with the guessing game. Fans had a complaint to make as celeb panellists Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Rita Ora resumed their detective duties on the second episode of the 2023 series of ITV's The Masked Singer.
After Jacket Potato took to the stage, hiding a celebrity beneath the elaborate costume, the panellists had their chance to guess their identity. Among the guesses were Blur musician Alex James, EastEnders actor Shane Richie, comedian Jack Whitehall and even Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke.
But Jonathan had viewers groaning as he guessed that the spud with the booming voice performing Elvis Presley's Viva Las Vegas was Bake Off judge Mary Berry, a joke that has become a recurring joke across all four series. @shelley86 pointed out on Twitter: "First Mary Berry of the series."

Fans demanded that Mary should one year take part to make Jonathan's wish come true. @JustKeepChimmin said: "I *need* Mary Berry to actually do this show. Think @wossy would cry with happiness and his life would be made. #TMS #TheMaskedSingerUK."
@itsgeeharrison asked: "Can we please get Mary Berry on the @MaskedSingerUK? just so @wossy can finally say ‘it’s actually Mary Berry.’ #MaskedSingerUK."
