Mark Labbett was forced to eat his words after an "arrogant" remark on The Chase.
Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers on Wednesday's edition of the popular game show. Ali, Max, Ravi and Sharon were testing their wits against The Beast in a bid to win a cash prize.
Ali got off to a superb start as she built up £7,000 and progressed to the final round. The Beast fought back and proceeded to eliminate Max and Ravi.

Sharon managed to defeat Mark in the head-to-head and the team were competing for £13,000. However, Mark had only answered one question incorrectly and he was in a confident mood after his ominous display.
He said: "7 and 6. They're not to be underestimated. Actually, yes they are. Let's get this over with." Viewers following the show on Twitter were rooting for the players after the comment.
Lois said: "Hope these girls beat arrogant pants!"
Rainbow added: "I know Mark is playing a part but I could thump him when's he's so smug"
The team built up 17 steps and executed five pushbacks to successfully outrun the Chaser in the final round. Viewers following the show on Twitter were thrilled Sharon and Ali took home the cash prize.
Mrs Haworth said: "I can win this game with 30 seconds to spare."! The Beast is eating words! Well done ladies."
