ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh taken aback as player 'threatens to knock Chaser out'

Bradley Walsh was taken aback as a player said she'll knock a Chaser out.

The host returned to front Tuesday's edition of The Chase. He welcomed Terri, Diego, Claire and Jack on the latest edition of the popular ITV game show.

Shaun Wallace was the quizzer standing in the way of the players earning thousands on today's show. The Dark Destroyer started off in strong form as he eliminated Terri after a £6,000 cash-builder.

The team fought back with Diego, who proceeded to book his spot in the Final Chase with £6,000. Claire was next up and the 33-year-old recruiter hoped to spend any potential winnings from the show on a hiking trip abroad.

The Chaser vowed to eliminate the player after an impressive head to head. He said: "I'm gonna knock you out."

However, Claire thought Shaun was engaging in some fighting talk as she shot immediately back: "I'll knock you out."

Bradley was in hysterics after the exchange as he said: "He doesn't mean physically, he means in the game. Fight. Absolutely brilliant."

The Chaser came through on his promise as he proceeded to eliminate Claire from the game. Diego was joined in the last round by Jack and they were competing for a combined £15,000.

They built up 16 steps and left with the cash prize when Shaun could only build up 12 steps
