Bradley Walsh was puzzled as a player called out Mark Labbett's mind games on today's show.
The 62-year-old presenter welcomed four new players on Monday's edition of the ITV programme. Matt, Christine, Geoff and Diane were testing their wits against The Beast in a bid to win a cash prize.
Matt in seat one put in a strong performance and booked his spot in the final round with £9,000. However, the Beast fought back and proceeded to swiftly catch Christine in seat two.

Geoff was next up and the 32-year-old was frustrated with his own performance as he accumulated £1,000 in his cash-builder. The project manager was taunted by The Beast as he suggested Matt would rather compete in the Final Chase alone.
Geoff branded the jibes as "mind games" and navigated his way past to the Beast to progress to the final round. The player successfully guessed a number of answers and the host was confused he managed to evade The Chaser.
He said: "What just happened?" The Beast caught Diane and proceeded to continue with his taunts.
He said: "I feel sorry for Matt. He's got the dead weight of Geoff to work with." Geoff laughed off the comments and pointed to his brain to suggest the insults were another bout of mind games.
Geoff and Matt were competing for an overall £10,000 and got 13 answers correct. However, they were caught with 54 seconds remaining - meaning they left empty-handed.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on Monday on ITV and the ITV Hub
