ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh apologises as he issues last-minute plea to fans

Bradley Walsh has issued a last-minute plea to fans.

The 62-year-old presenter is one of the most recognisable faces on television. Each weekday, Bradley invites four new contestants on to The Chase to test their wits against one of Britain's finest quiz brains.

He is also renowned for his appearances on travel programme Breaking Dad and his role as Pop in the Larkins. Bradley has taken to Instagram to urge fans to vote for his programmes in the TV Choice awards.

He shared a hilarious clip with his 918,000 followers as he apologised for his recent social media silence. He said: "Sorry it’s been a while but I’m trying to come up with a new idea and haven’t found anything yet! In the mean time TV Choice awards close voting today.

"The Larkins, Breaking Dad are up for grabs !! Please vote for one of those !! Not any others."

Fans flooded the comments to tell Bradley he had their vote.

Sonia said: "Voted breaking dad love it."

Denise commented : "Already voted! Good luck, especially with Breaking Dad - an excellent series! "

Bonnie messaged: "All done Bradders! Good luck - you so deserve every good thing "
