ITV The Chase player collects LFC pin badges worth an eye-watering amount of money

A Liverpudlian player on The Chase wowed Bradley Walsh with how much his hobby could earn him money wise.

Retired quantity surveyor, Keith, appeared on the ITV quiz show alongside Stu, Keisha and Lorraine. They each took on The Chaser, Mark Labbett, in a hope of going home with a cash prize.

But it seemed the 58-year-old already had a fair amount of cash in his wallet as he told the presenter about his hobby. Keith revealed he is an Anfield season ticket holder and has been since 1971.

He said: "I'm a Liverpool Football Club supporter, I've got a season ticket at Anfield. I've had it since '71. I collect football pin badges and I am now reducing my collection down so I'm selling them all on eBay."

Bradley asked: "How many pin badges do you have?" The retiree replied: "I did have 25,000. I've now got about 10,000 left."

In disbelief the host said: "No! How much do you reckon in total they would have been worth?" Keith replied: "About £150,000 to £200,000... something like that." Bradley added: "That's fantastic."

Keith went on to say that he could do with a new car and he hoped to put any winnings towards that. He managed to answer six questions correct in the cash builder round but bravely chose the higher offer of £50,000. Unfortunately he was beaten and went home with nothing.
