The Chase fans were in awe as one contestant managed to win a whopping £75,000. Viewers were at the edge of their seats as Eden Nash went up against Darragh Ennis on the ITV quiz show.
On Thursday night's rerun, the young brainboz came out with 18 correct answers in the final chase. After Eden won the cash, Bradley buzzed: "That is the highest ever single win in TV quiz show history - and you're only 20!" That is brilliant for a 20 year old, amazing, you scored 18 - you have to be happy with that. Extraordinary. Well played." Darragh added: "Well done."
Filming for the show actually took a year before, which meant that Eden needed to keep his win a secret for over a year until it was aired on TV. That's because contestants aren't able to share the news as to whether they've won or not until the episode has aired, reports Daily Star.

Darragh told Eden it was "absolutely brilliantly played" after he managed to get 18 in the final round which ultimately saw him sail through to success.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday night, Darragh wrote: "I see it was me getting beaten by Eden on @ITVChase for £75k. What a great game by him and I hope he squandered the money having lots of fun." Eden retweeted Darragh's tweet while also thanking the various fans who shared their support of him online.
Dozens of people replied, with one person saying: "What a legend! What a bloody legend! Yes, Eden!" Another wrote: "Well done Eden lad, 20 year old on his own, won £75k on The Chase. Biggest single player win ever on daytime Chase."
While a third asked: "Eden got a future job in becoming one of the Chasers? He's great!" as a fourth declared they've "never been that immersed in an episode of The Chase as that one".
Although Eden didn't reveal where he spent the money, he told Bradley that he would "just look at it in my bank account" on the show - but he confessed to Darragh a year on that he "enjoyed himself".
Eden is currently the champion for the show's biggest solo winner.
