ITV The Chase fans realise why contestant 'looks familiar'

The Chase fans thought a contestant looked "familiar" during the latest instalment of the popular quiz show.

On Wednesday, Bradley Walsh welcomed Sara from Stalybridge, David from Kent, Jenny from East Sussex and Brad from Birmingham to the studio. They teamed up against the Vixen, aka Jenny Ryan, in a bid to win some serious cash.

David was up first, making it back to the team with £3,000 after taking the middle offer.

Next up was Sara, who banked an impressive £7,000. Jenny was third to the podium, and the 67-year-old explained she was retired and enjoyed lots of walking in the countryside.

She answered six questions correctly in her cash builder round, but failed to get one about "bottomless" brunches right. The Vixen said to her: "You're retired and you don't know what a bottomless brunch is? What have you been doing all this time?"

Fans at home thought they recognised Jenny from somewhere. Taking to Twitter, @MissLionHeart said: "Bonnie Langford on The Chase!", while Jessica said: "Was driving me mad why Jenny looks familiar. Bonnie Langford!"

Other viewers were taken aback by Jenny's age. Greg said: "Cannot BELIEVE that Jenny is SIXTY SEVEN years old! Looks amazing". Elisabeth said: "Did Jenny say 67? She looks amazing!"

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITVX
